riding the arizona trail

What I realized is I need my own camera. often on my rides there is a great pic and Steve has the camera. Rode AZ trail with my buddy Troy and had a spectacular day friday. It is all dialed in with single tract from his house to mine. Troy had a cell phone with camera to get a couple of shots.

I am having difficulty taking pics from Troys blog. with his permisson ofcourse...

short & sweet

One of my best friends or should I say the best friend of my adult life. who should I say saved me from being a small town hick WI girl- MEG was in town. being roomates by fate/luck freshman year of college was truley an important part of my life and me. she continues to touch my life in a way a true best friend only can.........good to have such amazing people in my life.... When Meg came to town 4 -5weeks after Steve's accident (he still being in the hospital). the moment she walk in our door and gave me a photo from her husband andrew. steve calls crying saying he moved his toe. (first movement in his lower half of his body). I had just opened this amazing picture taken in Mongollia by Andrew in a temple of the budda's feet. so too my amazement steve was telling me he moved a toe. So meg and I rushed to the hospital to see steve do it again only with intense concentration. He was so neurologically tired he could not do it again for 2 days. from that is where it all started his journey to walk again.

stuff stuff stuff

Why do people need so much stuff? Why do we need so many stores? I think less concrete and more open space would make this a healthier happier planet. not a new car , new outfit, stuff , stuff , stuff..... Why are there so many plastic bags? reusable shoping bags!- why are they not manditory. there are a lot of unhappy , unhealthy people out there. life is short...........get out and smell the air / hear the sounds of birds and wind/ get your heart rate up/ I am the luckiest girl to be married to Steve Garro. Amazing home cooked meals/ someone who always does what he says/ and instead of diamond rings I get BIKES/ does it get any better? I guess bikes are stuff. but boy I ride my bike until parts get worn out- no waste there- well used. Stuff just needs to be kept in moderation.....too much waste... I really wonder if what appears to be the Majority will ever wake up and realize for one what we are doing to the planet but also what we are doing to ourselves. "fossil fuels should be extinct". - by leni http://www.titaniumarts.com/ - leni gave me a button with that saying with a polar bear as the picture under the saying. thats all good night......
