Is it really Memorial day weekend? /graduation in denver

woke up at home today with snow snow snow....the moisture is great......but snow and June around the corner -Crazy.....Just got back yesterday from a fun family trip to Denver for Scott's highschool graduation and my Mom's birthday.....It was great to see Greg's parents Gene and Jackie- it has been over 15 years....Also happy birthday to Greg on Saturday....Gnarly old dude- we got to go on a great bike ride from their house.....great to go somewhere and just fit in my sister's shoes, clothes and on her bike....Thanks Michelle.....Great to see the Bushey family in Denver, it has been awhile- Michelle, Greg, Scott and Brad.....love you all.......D

HAPPY BIRTHDAY STEVE

Steve woke up today to a White Birthday......Wow it is snowing......the moisture is wonderful, but I did not expect a White Birthday for Steve.....We will probably relax and eat Indian food for Lunch today....Yesterday We had a Party for Steve....It really turned out great and good too catch up with good friends.....Thanks to everyone for making it a great time and sharing in Steve's birthday......40 years old hard to believe........And special thanks for Anges bringing the cake........And Happy birthday to Doug Hall.......D

riding with friends

had a great 2 days mt biking with friends....Kristina and I got to ride the first time in a long time friday afternoon, grouped together with 3 guys one of them being DK -visiting flag, had a great group ride. then saturday out there most of the day with Deanne. seeing a lot of good friends out there on the trail....that is truely my favorite thing about flag's riding season is running into friends. The best place to catch up with old friends and share a few laughs... today Steve and Darol Shredded the off road hand cycle. good to see Steve having a buddy to ride with. I have a few days off this week due to the Big Day May 13th Steve is 40.......D

kayaking the mighty colorado up stream @ lee's ferry

I have to say it is one of my favorite spots. The amazing towering red walls, beautiful water and trouts. Boy I had to throw a lot of casts to catch trout this time. from all the paddling and fishing my arms were tired. we really got lucky with the amazing weather. no wind once we started to paddle upstream friday, which is amazing since it was blowing so hard the night before and early am. Glad to have some friends along to enjoy the experience with. thanks Jeff, Jane and Barry for joining us....D

home cooked meals

nothing like healthy eating....so lucky to come home from work to this....Steve as most of you know is an amazing cook....We are leaving to go kayaking camping and fishing until monday at Lees Ferry on the mighty Colorado River....CHEERS.....D

Gosh I just love the flower bike. It is really weird too I do not miss a suspension fork at all or gears for that matter. What won't kill you will make you tougher and more Stoked.....D
