utah trip

great trip to utah to meet some good old friends from Reno.....started off the trip with 50 mph winds leaving flag- to 4 inches of snow at brian head utah. met up with our friends- smithers, vanessa, mark and amanda and decided to head straight for the desert until the weather passed. found some great single tract thanks to steve- having ridden it before. spent 2 nights- riding some fun rock outside of cedar city. then back to the mountains. warmer and warmer weather each day. camped by navajo lake- virgin river rim trail. great biking/fishing/armbiking/ and so good to meet up with old friends and to meet a new one- vanessa. thanks to you all for joining us.............

Had the mighty colorado to ourselves camping

Steve and I went on a great 2 night 3 day trip and did not see any other campers on the stretch of the colorado btw lees ferry and the damn. just day boats. the kayak did great. hard work going up. definately had to look for the easiest flow. stay close to the sides. forget it in the middle way too powerful. going down was fast.........had trout dinner every night thanks to steve. i got skunked.....guess he has more technique then i do. week days are the time to be on the water.... off to work the next four days with am mt bike rides. then off to utah to meet the reno crew for 5 days of mt biking/arm biking/ and fishing.

fishing/boating clear creek- Steve's b-day weekend- & armbiking

beautiful weather and good fishing. fun to explore arizonia's waters with our boat. just an hour a way clear creek. Yum we get to eat trout tonight for Steve's Birthday...... Today we are going up on the moutain to find snow- arm bike and dogs.......Got shut down on finding snow. the road to locket medow is closed. And a couple rides ago he rode waterline to snow - so something different today. Ending the weeked with a good ride- then trout dinner tonight......Happy Happy birthday steve.....................

beautiful sound of rain barrels filling

getting some moisture in Flag. rain barrels filling to water plants....have not used house water yet this spring...some snow this morning on the peaks. went for my first group ride in a long time yesterday, with 4 other people.-- great time--got snowed on at the overlook.... spectacular "winter" ride. good getting out in the woods with you Brad, Jessica, Matt, and the gnome. then off to a gathering of friends last night at Kristina & Bryce's for dinner. good day..........most friend time we have had in a while , it was great.

what more could you ask for

Tuesday was a great ride. I started the ride with Deanne and rode rocky ridge -onion trail-little bear- got sprinkled on while riding little elden springs trail- clouds all around - just beautiful out. little bear was perfect condition. then I rode up weatherford trail-down look out trail- up orion springs trail- down hotshots - to waterfall trail- schultz creek trail- across town to home. did not see anyone on the trail- great conditions - some rain- PERFECT............I just felt like I could go go go. wanted to get back for a little afternoon with Steve. hope you all are well. today is a Day with steve- arm bike & dogs. Yeh....

Norm & Gus/ armbike ride with Steve

we had a family weekend with sister Michelle and my nephew scott in town and my brother Norm...I wish I got pictures of michelle and scott but it was so quick our time together. short but sweet......Got the camera out this afternoon with Norm and his buddy Gus... Gus has a hard time resisting beer. (they have a lot in common).. Steve and I finally got out for an armbike ride. It was cool and windy but seemed as beautiful as ever..... said good bye to Norm after a beer downtown.....Thanks for all your hard work Norm.....look forward to the whole Kinscher clan getting together in WI in July.....

moving forward. Steve continues to improve - in strength- ready to start our life adventures- hanging out at home today trying to be mello and recover from getting my tubes tied... It is hard for me to sit still... feeling quiet well this evening.. I could learn a thing or two from our critters on how to relax in the middle of the afternoon......

no wind - went boating

what a beautiful saturday.....not one bite, but a perfect day for kayaking. We sure like our boat............saw some big Ospreys and their nests. saw a few people fishing but mainly just enjoyed the peace. I have been also getting some great mt bike rides in when I can here in Flag. weany walk and upper brook band trails were perfect before this last storm.... get it while you can......off for an early morning ride and a shift in the ER for sunday....

old friends came to visit for the day. great to see one of my best friends from college - Kristan and her family. such a good day. no matter how much time passes , true friends never loose a beat when reconnected. I am lucky to have those relationships in my life.
