a cherished spot to stop and take it all in....
not the best quality pics from my phone. I love this ferny section of the trail
I hope that fine flagstaff trail stays in existence for many more years. It is great to enjoy the challenge/beauty and solitude of the trail. love the big ferns right now. I have to say it really is a loss to flagstaff biking the end of upper secret trail. the aspen groves/ big ferns/ big rocks , I just loved it. But yet a 100 yards away or less you can drive in the same owl territory. yesterday even saw a noisy quad. It just seems restrictions could of been the route to take instead of complete closure to all. I guess in all reality life is too precious and short to get all bent over this, but it is a loss. I have been hearing owls often at the top of sunset/climb 3 lately. maybe they found a place they liked more to live....Any how on a good note, gosh the trails are in great condition and isn't the forest beautiful right now......D

That sure is beautiful country up there, D. Unfortunately, it's mostly the folks who take the time to reflect on it who end up paying the penalty for those who don't.
Thanks for coming by. We're looking forward to a busy fall.

Hey Denise, I don't know if your been back to the section of trail where you broke your tibia lately. I thought you find it interesting that it is kinder and gentler now and you can roll right down it. Not saying it is good just different. Thanks again for showing me that stuff. That stuff was awesome this morning.
