middle climb between sunset & climb 3 to the top. so moist and fresh used only by animals that we could tell....

on Monday Dan B. and I started our ride up Schultz then up sunset trail. At the top work called and said they would not need me for a while so we decided to ride up to the green cabins in the inner basin. All the way up I was dreaming of fresh spring water and the most beautiful aspen groves. my pics do not do it justice- they are from my phone. gosh the smells up there in the aspen groves are amazing.

it is baby horny toad season . this little guy is small his body is smaller then a quarter...
check out the trail work on secret trail. they built it all up with dirt and rocks. this is where I broke my leg in June and now it is all buffed out.....nice job trail guys...

Great to get out on the Mogollon Rim with Steve and Joe. Gosh it is beautiful country and all with in 2 hours of driving. Checking out different lakes we have not been to, and lots of fishing. Well lots of fishing for Steve and Joe. I did some fishing, swimming and playing with the dogs. Sometimes it is hard to express to someone how much they mean to you, but I feel very lucky to have such a great family. I am so glad Joe made the trip out here and experienced some of my life and the region where I live. It is important to me to share this great beautiful country with people that are close to me. Thank you again Joe for coming out.........Love you.......D

I hope that fine flagstaff trail stays in existence for many more years. It is great to enjoy the challenge/beauty and solitude of the trail. love the big ferns right now. I have to say it really is a loss to flagstaff biking the end of upper secret trail. the aspen groves/ big ferns/ big rocks , I just loved it. But yet a 100 yards away or less you can drive in the same owl territory. yesterday even saw a noisy quad. It just seems restrictions could of been the route to take instead of complete closure to all. I guess in all reality life is too precious and short to get all bent over this, but it is a loss. I have been hearing owls often at the top of sunset/climb 3 lately. maybe they found a place they liked more to live....Any how on a good note, gosh the trails are in great condition and isn't the forest beautiful right now......D

Gosh we sure live in a beautiful place. went out for a great ride with Christy and Aki-still here from Japan. I just love the trail system gimpy's gully- Az trail-flying fish. I continued on solo to end my ride going up to secret trail- down upper moto - moto- schultz. gosh trail conditions are great.......
