Looking down from the Island at Robie, Jerry and Steve kayaking/fishing.
I hiked up on the Island. This pic. is looking back at the sand strip Alfonsina's is on. At low tide the Island is connected to hike on.

Some of my favorite birds.

I love these guys- Pelicans

Enjoying a paddle on the tandom sea kayak with steve

where does the ocean end and the sky begin?

Robie and Jerry

ceviche from fish we caught with the drink of choice for the trip

Sally- she loves Mexico....

Jerry and Steve fired up after a good outing on the kayaks.

both pics are typical scenes at Alfonsinas
Robie cooking something good....

My favorite yellow dog- Cody

A perfect trip with good friends. Robie and Jerry thanks for joining us, great traveling companions....great food , generous nice people of Mexico and beautiful weather. It amazes me how Americans are full of fear about traveling to Mexico or any poor country off the beaten path. I have been fortunate to have been with Steve and have gone to countries that have a lot less then we have and have seen happiness and kindness in people that many Americans are missing. Some of the nicest real people have been those with less. Those in fear are the easiest to control..... Take charge of your life and get out there and experience it.
